Acupuncture in motion (AIM) & Adventures with owl (AWO) are joining forces to offer you a one of a kind experience in west philly.

This workshop is unique and a great way to combine two ancient healing arts into one. We will start with a creatively sequenced yoga class (focus on yin yoga poses for the fall), followed by 20-30 minutes of acupuncture during savasana with Cara (focus on Lung points (fall) as well as Kidney points for winter prep. followed by closing with short meditation.
Cara Mafuta Raboteau, L.OM., (pronouns she/they) is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and visual artist. She is the founder/owner of Acupuncture In Motion - a community clinic offering comprehensive, patient-centered care in a peaceful space. Cara treats a variety of medical conditions and specializes in reproductive health for all genders. She lives in West Philadelphia with her family
Owlrare (he/they pronouns) loves to teach all styles of yoga from power flow to restorative, often combining multiple components into one! Owl moved to Philly from Richmond in March of this year and was certified with 200hrs at the yoga dojo. Owl is currently in training to receive their 50 Hour trauma informed yoga certification! Owl started their journey with offering free yoga in the park. Eventually Owl advanced to creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ yoga at the park called street yoga. Owls mission is to present a presence in the yoga community that Is highly needed and lacking presence. To offer and hold space for all people who identify as POC and or LGBTQ+.
